Fixed Braces

We use the Damon system which represents the latest technology in fixed braces. It has been developed to create wider, more beautiful smiles. If you are worried about the appearance of a fixed brace you may choose to have 'clear' brackets rather than silver ones.

The Damon system is a truly amazing new way to straighten teeth that's faster, more comfortable and can improve your smile at any age, most often without removing any teeth. At an initial appointment we will take x-rays, photographs and impressions of your teeth, at the next appointment you will see a computer animation of your current tooth pattern and see how teeth will move during treatment and the final result!

The key advantage, compared to conventional fixed braces, is the combination of very low forces and very little friction, which results in more comfortable treatment in less time with fewer visits. In line with the Damon philosophy, we will only extract teeth in exceptional circumstances and usually only if it will improve the overall appearance of your smile.
